Construction Area: Hard Hats Required

CHECK THIS OUT.  Do you know what this means?  The fireplace has been installed in the downstairs front room and 98% of the framing is done... which means that we are THIS close (my pinchers are like 3/4 of an inch apart) to calling the sheet rock guys!! So exciting!  Kirk and my brother-in-law Kyle have been working on finishing our downstairs for a little while now.  We moved into our house after many years of remodeling an old house, selling it, then building this one.. and we've just been chillin' for the past two years all wiped out, so it's so fun that we're finally getting motivated to finisher er up!  These guys are so handy it's amazing.

Downstairs we have the master bedroom, another bedroom and this sort of formal sitting room with the fireplace.  Once we get sheet rock it's trimwork, painting and other details. Still a lot of work but it's so exciting! We get kind of freaked out when we think of the adoption agency calling us and telling us to come and pick up our baby.. and then having no room for them!  so this is good.

That is VERY exciting and Kirk looks so dependable with his tool belt. Can he come do a few projects at our place??
